GOEWS – Greatly Over Engineered Wall System

How does it work?
The system consists of two main components: the Tiles and the Hanging Plates. The Tiles are secured to your wall or surface with #6 screws. The Hanging Plates feature a special cleat that inserts into the Tile and locks into place when pushed downward. Hanging Plates are available in four standard widths, ranging from 1 to 4 cleats, depending on the size and design of the item being attached. Wider plates use more cleats to provide additional strength. For enhanced strength or security, you can add a bolt above the Hanging Plate. This prevents upward movement if knocked and increases the load capacity for forward prying forces.
How do I get started?
Head over to either Printables or Makerworld and grab yourself some tiles in a size that will work for you 3d printer. here is some common sizes
4H x 4W Tile is 158mm x 189 mm
4H x 5W Tile is 232mm x 159 mm
6H x 4W Tile is 230mm x 189mm
Typically heights vary in Even numbers. 2,4,6 etc but widths can vary even or odd
Print these out with 0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm layers. 3 permitters, 15% infill or more. PLA or PETG
if your fancy you can also print a stack of them with either a spacer or gaps. files are available for both.
